1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
I think that my favorite vacation location is Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. I’ve heard of this location from some Hungarian people whom I met at Felix, a spa city from Romania. I go there every year because my health problems and the thermal water makes me feel good. Last year I met there some Hungarians and they told about Budapest , their capital which is famous for its health and thermal spas and that Rudas Health Spa is very famous for its Turkish bath. I was very curios , that’s why I planned a trip to this location and now I don’t regret a thing because I think that Budapest is one of the world’s attractive cities , rich both in nature and architectural beauty. So this vacation was one of my best vacations ever. And most of all Budapest is internationally known-services that they provide are based first and foremost on the proven medicinal properties of their mineral water which can be found here. And I must not forget that the atmosphere is conductive to effective treatment and qualified medical assistance is always at hand for all of us, even if we are foreigners.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled only with a friend, one of my colleagues from my work, who has almost the same problems as I have and the doctor recommended to us baths in thermal and also mineral water so he also recommended places where there is such spas.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
I did not spend so much time searching for the informations I needed because I went to a travel agency and told them who work there that I want to go in a vacation to Budapest and very quickly they found all the routes possible as cheap as possible. And they in a short while they made a plan and liked it and I let them made the reservations at the airport and at the hotel.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
There were a lot of things that I liked most especially the spas and the remarkable caves, some of which are open to the public. All was great, and the sightseeing was absolutely indescribable.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
I think that the bad side of this vacation was that on the streets and in the parks and even in the public places as restaurants you could see a lot of g/l, and they were kissing and hugging and for me was disgusting, really disgusting because I am old and I think that the youth these days are going crazy and when I was young we did not see something like this.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
My room was perfect and I must say that I had everything I needed, even an object that even now I don’t know what it is and how to use it. And it was so strange to see it there without knowing what was it.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
No I am too old and at my age these objects don’t interest me so much as to the young ones do. And I think that if I had these objects I would not know how to handle with them.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Here I met one of the most friendly and nice people ever. They all knew that we are foreigners and they treated us very well, and I admit that they made a very good impression.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
No I did not made any friends there because we stayed almost every day in the thermal baths and the persons with whom we entered in contact, were friendly but we did not keep in touch with them.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
Like I said most of our time we spend it at the spas and when we were not in the Turkish baths we went visiting the cities and its beauties.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
There were a lot of places that I visited, among them was the Aquinum Museum, the Roman Ruins, the city Franciscan Church, the Castle district and I must not forget Budapest most beautiful park without any doubt the Margaret Island and of course the zoo.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
I think that my recommendation to the public is Felix, another city with spa and thermal water, a kind of resort-town from Romania.
