1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
My favorite vacation location I guess was India. I was always fascinated about India and its culture since I was in collage and now I had the opportunity to go together with my family.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
No I did not traveled alone I went together with my family my wife and our boys Jamie and Rick.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
I spent several days finding information about this place. Because we visited different parts of the country, it was quite difficult to find sleeping accommodations so I went to a travel agencies that was very helpful.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
India is mix of so many cultures; I was fascinated about everything I saw. It really does not matter whether you go in the south or north part of India you will definitely be surprised of everything this country has to offer.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
I don.t really know what to say, I.ve enjoyed every part of this trip I guess I could say it was a bit tiring since we didn.t spend much time in a place because we wanted to see as much as possible.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
Some of our rooms were ok while other were rather bad meaning that besides a bad there was nothing else in the room.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
Yes, I took my digital camera and my laptop the kids had their Ipods. My camera is a Canon Powershot S5 IS.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
We arrived in India by plane. The flight was ok o bit crowded but services on the plane were excellent. When we arrived in New Delphi, we rented a car and continued our trip through out India.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
Not really, we were more preoccupied by our kids and since we didn.t stay more than 3 days in a place we didn.t actually have time to make new friends.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
We went swimming in the Indian Ocean near Calcutta, also the children wanted to try snorkeling, and hiking in the Himalayas in the northern part of the country.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
We visited the Chola Temples, the Pattadakal Monuments, the Taj Mahal, some museum in Calcutta and the Vale of Kashmir.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
I think I would have to say the Roatan Island, Honduras
