1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
My favorite vacation location is Mallorca,Spain. I go to Mallorca every year,once or twice,only when I am in holidays.It wasn’t so hard to find out of this location,because my sister is married here so she moved from England,and she made here her own family.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
Until now I traveled alone everywhere I went,even to my sister and her family,because of my work I must go in different places and the staying at hotels is a part of my life. I am divorced and my son is living in Newcastle and he also has his own family.Since my divorce I always travel alone,but sometimes my son and my nephew accompany me in my holidays.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
Honestly,I did not searched for information about Mallorca.My first time there was at my sister’s weeding and I enjoyed every moment there.And since then every year I go to Mallorca in my holidays,so I think that the best way to know a city is to go by yourself and see for yourself every little part of the town and to make your own opinion of what must be visited or not.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
I really can’t say that I liked one thing especially,I felt really good there,so every little part of the city makes me different,it’s like I am another person.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
There aren’t bad sides about my vacation,if there were I did not spend my every holiday to Mallorca.My sister is my closest friend so I enjoy spending time with her and her family.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
First of all my room is very big,my sister has a very big house,and my room is in the attic of the house,I have there all the comfort of the world and a perfect view,the blue ea in all her beauty.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
I am an engineer,so I travel a lot.Everywhere I go I take my laptop,it is very important for me to keep in touch with technology and with my bosses and of course I take my digital camera,my Casio QVR 51,to capture all the beautiful sights of my holidays.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
The people here are great,they are very warm,the state of feeling that they gave me when I am with them is indescribable.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
Of course I keep in touch with my friends,even if most of the year I am far away from home,from Newcastle,but I have my phone ,my laptop and we call each other and send mails,let’s say once a week.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
Normally I spend my time there relaxing because I am in holiday,but last year I made a very good investment,me and my brother-in-law opened a bakery,so most of the time I spend it here,with our employers and customers,and at the end of the day we go to a bar and drink cold beer.Once maybe 2 years ago I participated to a football game against a neighborhood,and we won some medals with ,,citizens of Mallorca-Fotball players-premier ligue’’ The most important prize won in my life.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
When I started to come to Mallorca,I visited a lot of places including El Castillio Bellver,Palma Cathedral and of course Valldemosa.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
At my life I traveled a lot,I have visited a lot of places,especially the big cities of Europe,but the only that impressed me most was Mallorca,it’s beauty is overwhelming.
