1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
My favorite vacation location is definitely Hawaii. I think that Hawaii is the most exotic place in the whole world and I think that all of us know something about this beautiful location. I think that Hawaii is the home of the most beautiful beaches in the world, turquoise waters, silky sand and during the day there is never to cold to swim. We choose from the islands of Hawaii Maui, which is called ‘’the Valley Island’’ who boasts the world’s largest dormant volcano, Haleakala. I wanted so much to go there because some friends were there and they told me that Maui’s underwater valleys provide shelter for abundant marine life including hum pack whales that every winter migrate to the Hawaiian islands. I was so curious that I decided to plan a trip at this location and now after I saw what I saw there I don’t regret a thing.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled with my family, my wife and my boy, and another couple with their children so we were 7 persons that went in this vacation.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
It didn’t took me so long to find the informations we needed, I searched on the internet and then I went to a travel agency where we find out that Norwegian Cruise Line offers a trip to Maui at a reasonable price. We traveled with a ship ’the Pride of Aloha’’ where the spirit of Hawaii can be felt throughout the ship with its distinctive Hawaiian decor and the gracious and friendly crew.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
There were a lot of things that I liked but especially the turquoise water, the silky sand and most of all the girls because they came and brought cocktails in that funny dresses and flowers hanging down heir neck.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
I must say that there was nothing bad in this trip, it was like I was in my own tropical paradise.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
We stayed at a hotel and the conditions were excellent, we had everything we needed and all was comfortable so I can’t complain about anything. And I must not forget that our room had view at the ocean so that was very relaxing.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
Yes I took with me only my digital camera a Olympus SP 310, because the other couple brought with them their video recorder.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Everybody were very friendly and a lot of helpful when we needed dome informations.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
No I did made any friends, but with those with whom I spoke were very nice and friendly and I am sure that if I stayed more I will have had some friends now.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
Most of our time we were on the beach,on the nearby beaches of the islands and we also went visiting the attractions of this exotic island.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
We visited Maui’s Haleakala crater , where I was amazed by the landscape, we saw the lush rain forests of the nearby western Maui’s Mountains. We also visited the historic churches, their arts culture of Kahului, and the art galleries of Lahaina. And we did not visit all and for that we decided to plan another trip to Maui.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
My recommendation to the public is to visit all the Hawaii’s islands, not only Maui because all there are great and the landscape is very exciting.
