1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
I think that my favorite vacation location is Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, but not only this one, because even if Portugal is a small country I had a lot of options to choose. I found of this location accidentally from the internet, I searched once some sea sightseeing and there I saw I beautiful sea view from Portugal and I simply fell in love, I like to travel a lot and every year I choose another vacation so this year I put the finger on the map at Portugal. And I think that Lisbon is perhaps Europe’s most pleasant and affordable city. Its fantastic architecture, diverse population, delicious sea food, intriguing tile-work and non-stop night life which bring together the best elements of Portuguese life. And here I choose to stay also on the Algarve coast to relax on the smooth sand.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled like I always do with my girlfriend and my best friends, 2 couples so altogether we were 6 persons and I think it was enough because here we had the time of our life.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
Like I said I accidentally I discovered online a web page about Portugal and I was simply amazed about all the beauties of this country and after I spoke with my friends and decided to take the trip I went to a travel agency to give the best advices for that trip to be perfect, like I wanted it to be.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
There were a lot of things that I liked, among them was the Algarve coast which offers highly developed stretches of beach and the rest of the coast remain relaxing and totally Portuguese and isolated, which gave us a protective feeling. I liked also the museums and all the places that I visited but I must admit that most of all I liked the sightseeing which is indescribable.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
There weren’t bad sides of this vacation, if there were I probably did not say that Portugal is my favorite vacation location, so there weren’t.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
Here everything is great, the transportation and also the accommodation are excellent and very reasonable , perhaps the cheapest from Europe. And my room like my friends were very comfortable at a very reasonable and cheap price so I thing this is a very good thing, not like in the other cities of Europe.I have nothing to object about anything not even with the food, I was and still am very pretentious with the food, but here was great and tasty so I can not complain.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
I always take with ms my digital camera, a Sony DSC 71, and of course my laptop, also a Sony Vaio PC 9 F, I don’t go anywhere without them.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Everyone was very friendly and warm even we were foreigners, because there were locations where the people from there who were so cold with foreigners, but these ones made a very good impression.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
Unfortunately I did made new friends there because there were a lot of nations and I did not knew to whom to approach and bound friendships but after all , all was great even if we did not made new friends.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
Most of our time we spend it standing in the beach and of course in the turquoise water and sometimes we went visiting the city and all its surroundings. And I must say that I did not participate to any recreational activities because unfortunately we left before the Portuguese people to organize something.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
First of all I visited the Baptista-Baptos virtual museum and the Cathedral and of course the surroundings of Lisbon.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
I went in a lot of places and I must say that I recommend my country , Hungary and of course Spain, Italy and many others.
