1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
I think that my favorite vacation location is Felix, the most famous thermal resort from Romania , it is at 8 km from Oradea, one of the important cities of Romania. I think that everyone from Romania knows about this location because in the summer there is a lot of people, even the foreigners know about this perfect relaxation spa. The resort Baile Felix has been for many years one of the most important destinations, both for Romanian and for foreigners tourists.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
Even if I wanted to go with my friends from home, my parents told me on very convincing tone that I must go with them but they promised that it will be my last vacation spent with them, of course that I did not believed them because they said to me last year the same thing. But at the end it wasn’t so bad because another family came with us and they had a beautiful girl with whom I spend most of time.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
I did spend so many time searching for the informations about the resort Felix because my mother made the reservations with 4 months earlier because in the summer there is no chance for a tourist to find there some free rooms.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
The thing that I liked most but most was definitely the hot water, and I could stay and play with the ball all day in the water, in fact this was my daily activity. And another thing that I like was there is an aqua park with 5 toboggans lanes and a lot off swimming pools, one especially arranged for the children.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
The bad side of this vacation was there were some days when it rained and the wind was strong and was cold but fortunately the water was hot and we stayed all day in the water.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
We stayed at Oradea and there we rented a big apartment for all of us and it was good, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. No one complained about something so I think all was perfect.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
Yes I have with us my family digital camera but honestly I don’t remember the model, all I know is that it is a Sony. But we also took with us a camcorder, a Panasonic and here again I do not remember the model .
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Everyone was friendly and warm, especially our host who rented us the apartment. He came almost everyday with us in town and at the resort and he was practically our guide in this unknown area from Romania .
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
Yes I did made new friends, the girl who came with her family and we both made new friends in the swimming pool with whom we played with the ball or with whom we swim and yes I still keep in touch with them with the help of the internet and the phone.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
Like I said most of my time I spend it staying in the hot water, playing with ball and of course swimming, or went to the sport grounds to play volleyball or other sports. And at night we went in the city, Oradea, in clubs or restaurants.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
I only visited the National Museum from Oradea, and I also visited on day the resort 1 May, we saw Oradea’s fortress , the Church with the Moon, and the Roman-Catholic Cathedral, which is Romania’s greatest baroque monument as well as the Baroque Palace, a replica of the Belvedere Palace in Vienna.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
My other recommendation to the public is another famous resort from Romania , Mamaia, which is situated at the Black Sea.
