1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
I think that one of my favorite vacation location is the one when I went to Africa, all over in Africa. I am an explorer so I am interested to see all of this world, all its beauties and landscape. And in my opinion the wide open plains and hidden tribes of Africa created a mystique in me and I recommend to experience all these at least once in their life. So after I gathered the informations I was sure that there was no better way than to so on a cruise ship, because Africa contains the world's longest river, the largest desert and many other fascinating land masses. A friend told me about Africa and its beauties, and he said if I look for memories that will last forever to look no further than a cruise to Africa . I was curious about all these and I decided that my next trip around the world must include Africa.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled only with a friend of mine who shares the same passion as me. I really wanted to be more than 2 but our friends said that they can not leave their jobs for a cruise and we had no choice but to go only the two of us.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
I did not spend so much time gathering the informations about this location because with the help of the internet we planned the routes and arranged everything, including the departures and the reservations at the hotel. In this day you can do everything with the help of the internet so we didn't had to go to travel agency because all we done online.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
I think that the thing that I liked most was the landscape, I never saw something similar in my life and I was simply amazed about all these. You remain amazed about the beauties of the nature and you thing that there is nowhere in this world places like these which I visited.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
I think that the bad side of the this vacation was the transportation because it were some times when we had to wait some time until our vehicle to come, so it was annoying because we missed some places that we wanted to visit.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
I changed so many rooms and hotels during my vacation to Africa that I can not remember if every room in which I stayed everything I needed. But all was comfortable and I slept like a baby so I ca not complain.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
When I go in this kind of locations I always take with me a digital camera, my Sony DSC P50, and of course my video recorder to capture all the sights of the places which I visit them.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Everybody were very friendly and a lot of helpful when we needed dome informations.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
The people make Africa one of the most diverse continents in the world and here the wildlife is unmatched. I did not made friends because we stayed so little in every country so I couldn't bound friendships.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
My time spend in Africa was visiting country to country and their landscapes and also their hidden tribes so I did not participate to any recreational activities.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
I did not had time to visit the museum because we were all day on the road and through the desert.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
I have to recommend Africa and all its countries because there are many and traveling through Africa was an experience that I am sure that will last forever.
