1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
I think that my favorite vacation location is Vatra Dornei, which is one of our well known ski resort in the north of Romania. I was at Vatra Dornei during my Christmas vacation with some friends and I stayed there only 7 days including the New Year' s Eve and it was really great. I studied a lot and I decided to go in a place where I can go skiing because it is one of my favorite extreme sports ,besides it I like also snowboarding so I wanted to go where is snow. Every year me and my friends went to Brasov another ski resort from Romania but this we wanted to try something new and other friends told us about this location so we were curious and we decided to go to Vatra Dornei. And now I must say that I don't regret that I planned this trip
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled with 3 of my friends, my boyfriend and another couple, our best friends. We took our luggages and went to spend a week indescribable in words.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
It didn't took us so long to find the informations about Vatra Dornei only few days. Most of the informations we gathered from some friends and we also searched on the internet for more information and only after that we went to travel agency to make the reservations for the trip and for the hotel.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
I think that the most beautiful thing in this vacation was the landscape. I think I never saw in my life that image, all white and us there. It was like we were on the clouds, our little place of heaven.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
I am sure that there weren't bad sides of this trip, first of all because we planned this vacation so it couldn't be anything wrong.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
My room was ok, we rented 2 rooms , one for me and my boyfriend and another one for our friends. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed so I can't complain, because we didn't spend so much time in our rooms and when we returned at the hotel we were so tired that the only thing that we wanted was to sleep.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
I only took with me my digital camera, a Canon.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
Everybody was friendly with us, especially those from the reception of the hotel who were so kind with us and they treated us very well.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
No I did made any friends there because I was with my friends, but I meet new people but we didn't spoke enough so that we can bound a friendship so I don't keep in touch with them.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
I spent most of time admiring the view, going to ski almost all day , playing all sort of games with the people there and with my friends and most important eating traditional food and much more.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
Besides skiing we went to visit the monasteries nearby, some of the well known from Romania the monastery Humor , Voronet, Sucevita and Putna. To see these monasteries was like I returned in our history.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
I think that my recommendation is Baile Felix Spa which is located at 8 kilometers distance from Oradea, a town which is our main gate to western Europe and here you can find excellent opportunities for geothermal treatments
